 Apostle Kenneth Smith – a teacher, thought leader, and visionary, are some words that describe this passionate spiritual leader who is dedicated to preaching the Gospel, in a manner all races, education, and economic backgrounds can connect with. As a leader among leaders, actively serving as a senior leader in Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church, a member of The Liberty International Network churches based in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Apostle Kenneth ’s focus is on Enlightening, Empowering and Encouraging believers and non-believers alike. 

Under spiritual leadership of the late Apostle Clifford E. Turner and Apostle Sheraine Lathon, Apostle Kenneth experienced tremendous growth and development in the things of God. God moved Apostle Kenneth through various ministry offices, being ordained as an Evangelist in 2005, and Elder in 2008. Apostle Kenneth sensed a special calling from God and join Liberty Temple’s Prison ministry in 1996. He has faithfully served and preached at several prisons in the Chicagoland area, ministering to over 10,000 men, women, and youth. While serving in the prison ministry, Apostle Kenneth established a mentoring program, which was instrumental to many men turning their life around once released from prison, never to return. God promoted Apostle Kenneth by calling him to the office of Apostle in 2016. 

Apostle Kenneth is a firm believer in the importance of receiving an education and accomplished many academic achievements throughout his life. As a graduate of Harlan High School, and Logos Ministerial Training Institute, Apostle Kenneth currently holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Quincy University. He also received his Master of Divinity Degree, in Biblical Studies from Trinity University. Apostle Kenneth has taught in the Chicago public school system since 2008 with a focus on special education. His desire is to have a center where former prisoners can get their GED, learn a new trade for employment purposes and partner with community business and groups to offer second chances to those being re-populated into society He is also a licensed carpenter. Apostle Kenneth is a man reaching destiny and fulfilling purpose all for the glory of God. 

Apostle Kenneth Smith is the proud husband of Pastor Dedra Smith. They have seven beautiful children and 11 grandchildren.
