Elder Dedra D. Smith

 Elder Dedra D. Smith is a faithful and passionate member of Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church and World Outreach Ministries for over 29 years. She was ordained an Evangelist in 1999. Elder Smith has served in the capacity of youth leader, nursery, media staff, teacher for the Sunday School Department, Secretary of Liberty Academy PTO, and served as Director of Liberty Temple’s Media Ministry serving under the direct leadership of Senior Apostle Sheraine Lathon. She was appointed as the National Marketing and Communications Director for Liberty International Network, serving under the late Apostle Clifford E. and Apostle Darlyn C. Turner. Dedra provided media leadership and was responsible for over 60 volunteer media staff. In her role as Director, Dedra’s oversight was ensuring the overall excellence in marketing and presentation of ministry communications. 

Elder Smith has a passion for education, business and sensed a special calling to work with the underprivileged. Elder Smith worked several years in social services, working with agencies that aided those in need. Elder Smith, one of Apostle Clifford E. Turner’s spiritual daughters, is a part of the Apostolic Team Ministry (ATM), which assisted Apostle Turner in the establishment of network churches nation-wide. In February 2004, Elder Smith, was assigned to the ministry work at Liberty Temple Full Gospel Church of Orlando and served as Administrator for 10 year. In her continuing pursuit of education and passion for learning, in 2004, Elder Smith returned to school and graduated Florida Metropolitan University with her BA in Business Administration. In May of 2009, she graduated Mountain State University with her master’s in strategic leadership. Upon God’s leading and after completing her ministry assignment in Orlando, Elder Smith returned to Chicago to provide support to her aging mother. After some time, she met and married her husband, Apostle Kenneth Smith 

Elder Smith is an anointed and passionate exhorter in the body of Christ. And serves in prison ministry with her husband. Having experienced many hardships and triumphs in her own life, Elder Smith preachers messages of hope for the lost, rejected, and wounded, offering a special message to men and women how the love of God is compelled to offer second chances to all who have been lost, afflicted or have gone astray. She preaches and teaches on the restorative power of God’s love. Elder Smith and her husband were appointed to serve as senior leaders of Liberty Temple of Bolingbrook. 

Elder Smith and her husband currently reside in the Chicagoland area. Both are grateful for the support of their seven beautiful children and 11 grandchildren.
